Farm visit and barbecue at Pipers Farm
Bowmers are proud to work with Pipers Farm – a family run farm in the glorious rolling hills around Cullompton. The ethos of Pipers is the belief that small scale mixed farming is the most sustainable way to produce food. We share these values and love the incredible taste and quality of the products we buy from Pipers.
Pipers are passionate about the Slow Food Movement, a grassroots organisation that is THE alternative to fast food. Slow Food strives to preserve traditional and regional cuisine - just the sort of food that is on the menu at Bowmers.
Learn more about Pipers farming ethos as Peter Greig guides us around his farm and introduces us to the their animals. Red Rubies grazing alongside a flock of sheep and Wessex saddleback pigs happily living next to vegetable patches, it’s a rural idyl!
After an hour touring the farm, settle down to a barbecue of Pipers Farm produce cooked on the fire pits, together with a glass or two of Bowmers wines and beers of course.
We set off from Budleigh Salterton at 5.30pm to travel by coach to the farm and should be back in Budleigh around 9.30pm.
The cost is £45 per person and you can book by calling Bowmers on 01395 442676.
Payment can be made by credit card in person or over the phone.
Limited spaces available, book now, let the adventure begin!
